Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in via Clerk, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo. We do not store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Show and guest data. Any information you enter about your podcast show and guest pipeline (names, notes, dates, contact details) is stored in our database and associated with your account.

Usage data. We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited to help diagnose issues and improve the Service.

AI-generated content. When you use our AI features (prep docs, run sheets, outreach emails), the guest information you have entered is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate content. We cache the results in our database to avoid repeated AI calls.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Generate AI-powered content on your behalf (prep docs, run sheets, outreach)
• Send transactional emails related to your account (if applicable)
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use the following third-party services to operate Pitchguest:

• Clerk — authentication and user management (clerk.com/privacy)
• Anthropic — AI content generation. Your guest data is sent to Anthropic's API when you generate prep docs, run sheets, or emails (anthropic.com/privacy)
• Exa — web search to find public information about guests
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
• Neon / Supabase — database hosting for your account and guest data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and preferences. Clerk uses cookies for authentication. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Pitchguest is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
